ELSA International heeft een speciale status binnen de Verenigde Naties, de Raad van Europa en is verschillende samenwerkingen aan het realiseren met andere Internationale Organisaties. Door deze samenwerking en speciale status hebben ELSA-leden de mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan verschillend 'Working Groups' en sessie van deze organisaties.
